San Francisco Sea Cliff fixer-upper listed for $4 million

San Francisco Chronicle by By Aidin Vaziri

A newly listed property in San Francisco’s exclusive Sea Cliff neighborhood presents a rare opportunity to renovate a historically preserved 1910 home.

Located at 183 24th Ave., the residence has been under the architectural stewardship of the same family for a century, according to listing agents Joseph Lucier and Stacey Caen of Sotheby’s International Realty.

The name of the owner was not disclosed.

Featuring seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, the property showcases the craftsmanship and European Beaux Arts design influence prevalent in San Francisco’s post-quake residential development.

Offered as-is for just under $4 million, the 5,340-square-foot home sits on an elevated lot overlooking the West Clay Park neighborhood and the Golden Gate Bridge.

There is also potential for adding a garden, as well as a recently constructed add-on unit in the backyard.
